Restaurants, just like every other business in Pattaya, have been severely by the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, some of the city’s best-loved restaurants have been forced to shut permanently. Thankfully, many of the best ones have remained open and currently have some excellent deals available to encourage you to try their quality food. Here are just six of the fantastic steak restaurants in Pattaya.
1.Patrick’s Steakhouse
Patrick’s Steakhouse is located on Pattaya 2nd Road in the Central Shopping Arcade next to Soi Diana. It is one of the longest established steak restaurants in Pattaya having first opened its doors back in 1993. All of the beef is imported and of the highest quality. When served, it is beautifully presented with the usual sauces available along with some modern touches. The setting, ambiance, and overall experience are first-rate, making this one of the city’s top eating establishments.
2.Beefeater Steak House & Pub
The Beefeater is located in the same shopping arcade as Patrick’s and is another of the well-established and highly respected steakhouses in Pattaya having first opened in 2004. The ambiance is slightly different from that of Patrick’s in that it takes on more of a traditional pub feel, serving hearty meals. The beef is again imported and high quality so you can be confident that you will receive a quality steak when you visit.
3.Longhorn Steakhouse
Longhorn Steakhouse is situated in the same arcade as Patrick’s and Beefeater, so it is the area to get an excellent steak in Pattaya! Like the two places mentioned previously, Longhorn has an extensive selection of steaks available with both local and imported beef available. The décor is that of a relaxed, modern restaurant which is fitting with the atmosphere. The food at Longhorn represents excellent value for money and is well worth visiting.
4.News Café
The News Café is perfect for those living in Jomtien as it can be found in the Chateau Dale complex on Thappraya Road. It is a Scandinavian restaurant, and the menu reflects this although you will, of course, also find your usual favorites. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, and the food is excellent. The restaurant welcomes everyone but is particularly suited to families as there is even a play area inside.
5.Arno’s – Terminal 21
Although we tend to try and avoid chains of restaurants in our articles, on this occasion, we have made an exception for Arno’s on the Tokyo Floor in Terminal 21. Arno’s have their own butchers shop in Bangkok so you can be confident about the quality of the meat which is both imported and locally sourced. The restaurant tries to incorporate several different concepts, and this is evident in the menu. The food is excellent although slightly more expensive as you would expect in a shopping mall.
6.Moonlight
Moonlight is located in View Talay 7 at the start of Jomtien Beach Road and is a fine dining restaurant instead of a steakhouse. However, they do serve a superb selection of Australian steaks that are deserving of a mention. The prices are very reasonable considering it is a fine dining establishment. The food is magnificently presented, and the fact that it is relatively small helps create a cozy, relaxed atmosphere.
