Pattaya has evolved into a superb place to bring children on holiday, not to mention live. The weather is fantastic throughout the year, and there are some excellent beaches close by such as Koh Larn and Bang Saray as well as plenty of restaurants that welcome youngsters. When this is coupled with the Thais natural affection for kids and the vast array of fantastic activities that are available, it is little surprise that they love the city just as much as the adults!
Outdoor Fun
Water Parks of Ramayana and Cartoon Network Amazone
Children and big children love water parks, and in Pattaya, we are fortunate to have two of Southeast Asia’s best on our doorstep as well as Pattaya Park in Pratamnak. Ramayana and Cartoon Network Amazone are modern attractions that would rival any water park in the world. They are built to western standards have excellent flumes, rides and lazy rivers as well as separate areas for younger children. They are perfect for kids and make a great family day out.
Go-Karting
Go-karting is perhaps something that would appeal to slightly older kids, but in Pattaya, we have two excellent tracks as well as the karting track are Bira Circuit. EasyKart can be found near Bali Hai Pier while Pattaya Kart can be found just of Thepprasit Road. Here your child can become the next Lewis Hamilton, for the day at least, and can have races against others or just ride around the track for fun.
A Bit of Variety
Harbor Land
Harbor Land is situated on Pattaya Klang and is a haven for children with so many activities for them to take part in. You will find impressive ball pools, the opportunity to ice skate along with visiting Snow Land as well as many other exciting things to do. Although it isn’t exactly cheap, it is something that the youngsters will enjoy, and it allows them to play in a safe environment while giving the adults a break!
Frost Magical Ice of Siam
Frost Magical Ice of Siam is just off the Highway 36, close to the Regents International School. Inside you will find temperatures of -10C as you take the Ice Walk, all very different to the scorching temperatures outside. Kids will absolutely love this and don’t worry, appropriate clothing is provided, and for the adults, there is even an ice bar where you can enjoy some (literally) ice-cold alcoholic beverages!
Time with the Animals
Pipo Pony Club
When you think of Pattaya, one of the activities that is less likely to spring to mind is horse riding. The Pipo Pony Club is on Soi Chiapornwithi 21 in East Pattaya and allows children to ride the horses as well as groom them. The stables are kept excellent state, and the animals are all well-loved and cared for. It is an excellent family day out and something that animal lovers will really appreciate.
Sriracha Tiger Zoo
Sriracha Tiger Zoo may be a little out of Pattaya, but it is something that children will enjoy. The zoo specialises in breeding tigers and crocodiles and has around 200 tigers which have been bred in an ethical environment. The animals are all well cared for, and some of the younger tigers can even be petted, which is an excellent photo opportunity.
