Although luxury homes and condos are what we often hear the most about, there is still a great deal of demand for budget condos throughout Pattaya. These types of the property make great holiday homes or investment properties as they can often be easily rented, generating an excellent ROI. Although there are lots of these budget properties, here are eight of our favourites.
View Talay 1 & 2
The original View Talay properties on Thappraya Road are still in high demand and represent excellent value for money with spacious studios and one-bedroom units available. The facilities are excellent, including several shops on the ground floor of both buildings. The properties are directly on a baht bus route too, which adds to their appeal and marketability.
Novana Residence
The Novana Residence is located on Pattaya 3rd Road and is a relatively new development in a quieter location with excellent facilities. It is within easy traveling distance of Walking Street as well as baht bus routes to Jomtien or Pattaya. These units are attractive rental properties which generate good returns with sales prices remaining relatively low.
Laguna Beach Resort 1, 2 & 3
The Laguna Beach Resorts are, as the name would suggest, resort-style condos. As a result, they have a high appeal for families with young children, making them excellent investment properties. Due to their location, they also have appeal as primary or secondary residences with amenities close by. You get quite a lot for your baht when you purchase one of these units.
Park Lane
Park Lane is again a slightly older property but one that still holds a great deal of appeal. The compact one-bedroom units make it convenient for two people due to separate rooms which can be appealing especially if you are living their long-term. The sqm prices are below many others in the area, which makes Park Lane an attractive proposition.
The Amazon Residence
The Amazon Residence is located on Soi Watboon Kanchana in Jomtien. It has large swimming and a resort theme which adds to its attraction and marketability. Again, prices are very attractive, and the location makes it a great place to live or investment property. The property is only around 800 metres from Jomtien Beach.
Paradise Park
Located next to Park Lane, Paradise Park is a more modern version of its sibling but has many of the same attributes. The location and proximity to the beach will tick many boxes for both those looking to buy and rent.
Lumpini
There are three Lumpini properties in Pattaya are they are the epitome of budget condos, so represent great value for money. The properties are on the Sukhumvit Road in North Pattaya, in Wongamat and Jomtien. The facilities are excellent, and the rooms are compact but well furnished. All in all, they represent a bargain.
City Garden Pratamnak
City Garden Pratamnak is more exclusive than some of the others on the list, perhaps due to its location in Pratamnak which, as a result, makes it more expensive but it still represents excellent value for money and squeezes into the “budget” category. The facilities are excellent, and the location is one of the best in Pattaya, which makes it very marketable.
