RCA Aircon Express: the air conditioning company we recommend in Pattaya

9 October 2026By Shane Ruddle

In Pattaya your air conditioning is not a luxury. It runs most of the year, it works hard in salt air and humidity, and when it stops you notice within the hour. So one of the first things new owners ask us is who to call. For air conditioning service in Pattaya, we send people to RCA Aircon Express.

This is part of a series on local businesses we are happy to put our name beside. Nobody has paid to be included, and we do not take a commission for sending you there.

Who they are

RCA Aircon Express, which you may also see listed as RCA Air Conditioning Service, is an established business on Pattaya Third Road. They clean, repair, install and sell air conditioners for homes and for businesses.

We know the owners as clients first. They bought a property through Alan Bolton Property Consultants, and they were a pleasure to deal with. That is how we came to know them, and it is part of why I am comfortable recommending them.

How I know their work

I do not recommend them only because they are nice people. I use them.

Alongside the agency I own several restaurants, and RCA look after the air conditioning at one of them, Cajun Life Cafe. A restaurant is a hard test. The units run all day, the doors never stay shut, and a breakdown on a busy evening costs money straight away. I use RCA regularly for servicing there, and that is the experience this recommendation rests on.

Why we recommend them

They are reliable. They turn up when they say they will. Anyone who has waited at home all afternoon for a technician knows how much that is worth.

They speak many languages. Pattaya is an international town, and explaining a fault to someone who cannot follow you is slow and frustrating. Being understood the first time saves a second visit.

They are established. Air conditioning is something you come back for, twice a year at least. You want the same company to still be there, and to remember what they did last time.

They tell you the price first. Their own site promises a free check of the problem and a price before any repair. That is how it should be.

What they do

  • Cleaning: wall-mounted units, concealed (built-in) units and ceiling cassettes, including a deeper clean for units that have been neglected.
  • Repairs: units that are not cooling, electrical faults, and replacement parts.
  • Gas: checking the system and refilling refrigerant.
  • Installation: fitting new units, and removing or moving existing ones.
  • New air conditioners: supplied and fitted, with brands including Daikin, Mitsubishi, Samsung, LG and Haier.

What it costs

RCA publish their prices, which is a good sign in itself. At the time of writing, a standard clean of a wall-mounted unit is listed at 500 baht, and a concealed or cassette unit at 1,500 baht. Prices change, so check with them before you book.

How often should you service your air conditioning?

For a home that is lived in all year, a clean every six months is a sensible minimum. Units close to the sea, or running day and night, may need it more often.

If you are a landlord, servicing between tenancies is money well spent. A unit that drips or smells is one of the most common complaints we hear from tenants in the first week, and one of the easiest to prevent. If you have just bought a resale property, have every unit checked before you move in. It is far easier to do while the place is empty.

A note on our recommendations

We only write about businesses we would use ourselves or send our own clients to. If you use one of them and it does not go well, tell us. A recommendation is only worth something if we are prepared to hear that.
